But not entirely. Jeronimo Barrera, President of Product Development at Rockstar Games was recently interviewed by MTV, when asked about the delay he said:
It's really no surprise to anybody that the PS3 was definitely a contributing factor to that. Now, we're neck and neck. That's not an issue anymore. But back then that was something we were taking into account. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the PS3 version. It's awesome. They're both identical.
And on a sidenote, Barrera also confirmed that cheat codes will indeed be available to use in-game:
"For gamers who only want to cause havoc, the game will offer that and the standard amount of weapon-unlock cheat codes."
Thanks to Jordan for the heads up.
They're both identical.
^ Where did you see that, then? They never actually said that - both machines were at fault, and they simply needed more time to make the game better. If there was any fault with it, it's because they started working on GTA4 for the 360 first, and probably found it difficult to do the same thing for PS3.
Meh, comes as no huge surprise, but i don't resent Sony / PS3 owners / Rockstar at all.
Lol at cheats... well, lol at the people who use them for missions....
Them being identical is good though, that is... until the DLC is released...
Wow, no fanboys
@topic I was very mad after the first delay, but as time passed I learned to appreciate it for what it was.(A overall better game) Back in the GTA3 days, I would've went off my hanger, but i'm alot more mature now.(22yrs old)
I own both consoles, and I love both.
